STOP Technique is useful to identify unhelpful thoughts that are causing us to stress, as identifying them is the first step in order to challenge them and break the vicious cycle of low mood or anxiety. Initially it may be difficult to capture our thoughts as it’s not something we do in our day-to-day lives but this technique will make it easier.
