Working for TalkPlus

A supportive team offering a range of therapies

Here at TalkPlus we pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive, and passionate Team, providing high-quality talking therapy to people living in North-East Hampshire and Farnham.

TalkPlus is a high achieving NHS Talking Therapies provider. We offer a core service focused on evidence-based therapy for anxiety and low mood, and well-established integrated pathways, working with people with Long-Term Physical Health Conditions.

We have a fantastic team of high and low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and working alongside them is a committed team of counsellors and clinical and counselling psychologists.

“Talkplus is one of the most supportive places I have ever worked, everyone is so friendly and approachable and there is a real sense of teamwork. Talkplus recognises that working in mental health can be challenging and makes sure that everyone’s wellbeing is a priority with wellbeing days, extra supervision and even a wellbeing project team always looking for ways for the team to connect and support each other”

Tess

Our Service is maintained by an outstanding Operations Team, offering support to the whole clinical team as well as ensuring our patients find their way smoothly into and through our service.

As an important support to our therapy, we have a team of experienced and caring employment advisors.

We believe that looking after our staff is crucial to providing a great service to local people. Whether this is through regular team connection events, being encouraged to get involved in projects that you feel passionate about, generous professional development, or just meeting regularly as a team to learn together, you will feel part of a supportive team.

“I find TalkPlus to be a service that fosters a reflective and clinically safe practice. I feel that patient need is prioritised, and therapist’s needs and wellbeing are attended to.
What I value the most is that I find the service to be flexible enough whilst maintaining clinically safe boundaries for both therapists and patients.”
